SMART FUNDRAISING. STRONGER TEAMS. BIGGER IMPACT.

YOUR NONPROFIT DESERVES A FUNDRAISING STRATEGY THAT GETS YOU OUT OF SURVIVAL MODE

Most nonprofits aren't struggling because they aren't working hard enough. They're struggling because the systems, staffing, and strategy to support sustainable fundraising were never put in place. And without those, even the most committed teams feel like they’re starting every year at $0.

YOU’RE STRETCHED THIN. FUNDRAISING FEELS LIKE A CRISIS. AND YOU AREN’T SURE WHAT TO FIX FIRST.

Your organization is under pressure to grow, but the systems, staffing, and strategy to support that growth aren't keeping pace. Fundraising keeps falling on too few people, turnover is high, and your Board wants to help — but doesn't know how.

That's where I come in.

I Know What It's Like to Fundraise Without the Right Support. That's Why I Do This Work.

Hi, I’m Christina. I help nonprofits move beyond survival mode by building sustainable fundraising strategies and strong teams so they can focus less on the money and more on the mission.

I started Guava Tree Strategies because I know what it’s like to work at an organization with big dreams and too few resources, and I know how frustrating it can be to keep pushing without a real plan.

There’s a lot of advice out there - “diversify your revenue,” “act like a business,” “build a culture of philanthropy.” But none of that matters if it isn’t grounded in your organization’s reality. You don’t need more advice - you need a sustainable fundraising strategy and a partner who gets it.

HOW WE BUILD A NONPROFIT FUNDING STRATEGY THAT LASTS

I partner with organizations to build fundraising approaches that are realistic and sustainable, so the people doing the work aren’t constantly playing catch-up or burning out.

What this looks like:

  • We get clear about what’s actually happening with your fundraising —what’s working, what isn’t, and where time and energy are being spent without real return. From there, we map out a strategy your team can actually follow.

  • High staff turnover, unclear roles, and disengaged board members can undermine even the strongest fundraising plans. When expectations are unclear, and too much responsibility sits with too few people, fundraising starts to break down. I work with staff and Boards to clarify roles, strengthen shared ownership of fundraising, and relieve the pressure on your fundraising team.
