Nonprofit Fundraising Services
Building you a fundraising strategy your team can actually sustain, so you can spend less time managing turnover and more time on the work that matters.
How we build your nonprofit fundraising plan together
You need a partner who is in the work with you, helping you set direction, take action, solve problems as they come up, and build systems that actually fit your organization.
This work isn’t one-size-fits-all. Together, we focus on what will move fundraising forward in a way your team can actually sustain — and then do the work to put systems in place so that you’re set up for the long term.
Most clients come to me during moments of transition — when they’re ready to hire fundraising staff for the first time, when a Development Director has just left, or when there’s new leadership, and they need to stabilize their fundraising. In those moments, they need hands-on support to move forward.
A typical client engagement includes:
Getting clear on what’s actually working and what’s quietly draining time, energy, and morale in your fundraising
Narrowing your focus so that you can stop trying to do everything and start doing what will make a difference
Building and implementing a fundraising plan together
Setting priorities and aligning roles and expectations so that fundraising doesn’t keep falling on one person
Creating systems that reduce burnout and give your team a reason to stay.
When we work together, you gain clarity, momentum, and a fundraising approach that feels possible and realistic.
I work with clients for a minimum of three months, with pricing starting at $4,000 per month. Some organizations work with me short-term to get focused; others choose longer partnerships for deeper work and ongoing support.

Here’s what changes when you have a real nonprofit fundraising strategy
I’ve helped nonprofits raised over $20 million. Here’s what that’s actually looked like on the ground:
25% increase in foundation funding
for an organization that felt they had “hit a wall” with their grants strategy.
20% increase in donor retention
for an organization that was steadily losing donors and needed a new strategy to retain them.
2.5X increase in individual giving revenue
in just one year of prioritizing donor stewardship and increasing targeted communications.
5X increase in monthly digital fundraising revenue
for an organization that had no digital fundraising strategy other than emailing donors once or twice.
These numbers are only part of it. I’ve helped nonprofit leaders finally see clearly what’s actually making an impact and what’s just adding work. I’ve helped teams spread the workload so fundraising isn’t riding on one person’s shoulders, no matter how many people are on that team. And I’ve helped organizations move from reacting to whatever’s in front of them to building stronger, more sustainable organizations.
See how one client grew their entire budget by 54% after working with me.
Is this the right nonprofit fundraising strategy for your organization?
A note on fit: My clients are typically nonprofits with annual budgets between $1M and $5M that have been operating for at least three years. If that’s not you yet, I offer 90-minute Fundraising Clarity Sessions.
I’d love to work with you if you:
Are ready to invest in long-term fundraising planning
Have had turnover on your development team and want to build stability
Want to operationalize your fundraising and aren’t sure how
Have solid programming, but need a fundraising strategy to match
Know you need to diversify your revenue, but aren’t sure where to start
Want to build a culture of philanthropy that supports your organization for the long haul
It might not be the right time if you…
Expect rapid revenue growth without investing in infrastructure
Aren’t clear what more funding would help you achieve
Want a fully done-for-you strategy without collaborative input
Are focused solely on major gifts and aren’t ready to build a more diverse or inclusive donor base
Aren’t ready to invest in the systems and support your fundraising really needs
If now isn’t the right time, you can book a 90-minute strategy session to help you get clear on next steps.

Frequently Asked Questions about Fundraising Consulting
-
I work with nonprofits that are ready to grow their fundraising but need a strategy that makes sense for where they are now and where they want to go. Most of my clients are organizations with $2–5 million in annual revenue, often with a small development team, a team of one, or no dedicated fundraising staff at all.
I don't limit my work to a particular issue area. What matters more is that you're ready to look honestly at what's working, what's not, and what your organization needs to build the fundraising you want.
-
That’s probably when you need me most!
A team of one can be incredibly effective when the role, goals, expectations, and support around that person make sense. More often than not though, the role needs to be restructured in a way that makes sense for the person and the organization. That’s where I come in. I won’t tell you to hire a new team member unless your organization is looking to do that, and if you are, I’ll help you understand what role would make the biggest impact at your organization and give you a plan to set them up for success.
-
That's okay. You don't need to come to me with a perfectly defined project or know whether you need a new Development Director, a new individual giving strategy, more Board involvement, or something else entirely.
Figuring that out is part of the work. We'll start by understanding your organization, your goals, your current fundraising, and how your team is structured. From there, I’ll help you understand what will actually move your fundraising forward.
-
For the entire time we’re working together, I become part of your fundraising team. You'll have someone who knows your goals, understands the decisions you're making, and can help you navigate what comes next.
We'll meet regularly, stay in close communication, and adjust as your needs change. I'm there to help you make decisions, keep the work moving, and tackle the pieces that require additional expertise or capacity.
-
No. I won’t just hand you a fundraising strategy and walk away. Strategy is important, but a strategy sitting in a shared drive isn't going to raise any money. I work alongside your team to put the strategy into practice, make decisions as you go, and adjust when something isn't working.
When we work together, I consider myself part of your team. We build a plan that’s actionable and realistic for your capacity, and work together to put it into practice.
-
My ongoing consulting engagements start at $4,000 per month, with a minimum three-month commitment.
Because I work as an embedded partner rather than selling a set number of hours or a menu of deliverables, the scope is shaped around what your organization actually needs. We'll talk about your goals, priorities, and capacity before we decide what the engagement should look like.
